March 20, at approximately 8:35 AM, Western Middle School went into lockdown due to the unauthorized entry of 19-year old former student named Miguel Valdivia, address 20 Bruce Park Avenue, who entered the building during student arrivals.
The Greenwich Police Department took him into custody and charged him with Criminal Trespass 1, Breach of Peace and Interfering with Officer.
While the individual possessed no weapons or appeared threatening in any way, the building remained in lockdown for several hours. GPS security and GPD checked security cameras in and outside of the building to determine the pathway taken by the individual.
