Greenwich elections are scheduled for November 4, 2025 and the parties have officially announced their slates. Key races will include the Board of Selectmen (BOS), Board of Estimate and Taxation (BET) and Board of Education (BOE).

Board of Selectmen (BOS) For this 3-member Executive Board, the Democrat slate includes journalist Anthony Moor for First Selectman and former state legislator Rachel Khanna for Selectperson. Current Democrat Selectperson Janet Stone McGuigan is not continuing. The Democats are challenging Republican control of the BOS saying "Greenwich is great but it could be better by being more proactive." The Republican slate includes three-term incumbents First Selectman Fred Camillo and Selectwoman Lauren Rabin who have a record of accomplishing many building projects and infrastructure improvements. The list of BOS candidates is here.

Board of Estimate & Taxation (BET). For this 12-member Town Finance Board (BET), the Democrats have replaced their Chair Leslie Moriarty and member Scott Kalb with hedge fund manager Doug Fenton and previous BET member Laura Erickson. The Democrats, who are challenging Republican control of the BET, support adding debt and higher mill rate increases to get ahead of town projects. The Republicans have retired two long-serving members, Karen Fassuliotis and Leslie Tarkington, and added two CPAs, Sally Bednar and Joe Pellegrino, to their slate. The Republicans support efficient spending and keeping taxes low. The list of BET candidates is here.

Board of Education (BOE). For this 8-member School Board, the Democrats are running two candidates, both teachers, Bob Chaney and Veronica Chiavaroli (daughter of Rep Hector Arzeno), to replace Laura Kostin and Kathleen Stowe. The Democrats support larger increases in the school budget wanted (5% vs the 3% awarded). The Republicans have put forth a slate of five candidates for 3 slots that include an open 2-year term. The candidates include incumbent Michael-Joseph Mercanti-Anthony to fill the open term, RTM member Granit Balidemaj, Harbormaster Paul Cappiali, financial executive Karen Krause, and fire marshal Shawn McDonnell. They replace Cody Kittle who did not re-up and Jen Behette who filled an empty seat (in a process under litigation). The Republicans support less administrative overhead and finding efficiencies as enrollment declines. The list of BOE candidates is here.
