The winners of the 35th annual Sandblast Festival held on June 20, 2026 at Tod's Point have been announced.
š„ 1st Place:Ā OG Tip In
The coveted first-place crown went to "OG Tip In," a brilliant, high-stakes sand sculpture that traded traditional beach themes for a hyper-specific nod to New York Knicks fandom.
š„ 2nd Place:Ā America the Land We Love
Right on its heels was the beautifully executed "America the Land We Love," capturing second place with a heartfelt, patriotic tribute tailored perfectly to the country's historic milestone.

š„ 3rd Place: Ruby the Kraken
Rounding out the top three was "Ruby the Kraken,"Ā a delightfully imaginative bronze-medal finish that brought the animated pop-culture heroine of Ruby Gillman, Teenage KrakenĀ to life right on the shores of Tod's Point.
Between the Lines: Whether it's the tension of a buzzer-beater, the pride of a country, or the charm of an animated heroine, Greenwich artists know how to tell a spectacular story with nothing but sand and water.
