Winners of Greenwich summer photo contest

Greenwich Parks & Recreation Department announced the winners of the 5th annual “For the Love of Parks and Recreation” photo contest. In celebration of National Parks and Recreation Month, the contest was open from July 1 through July 31, 2025. Amateur photographers were invited to showcase their creativity and capture the unique beauty of Greenwich’s parks, programs, and recreational facilities.
Residents responded with an impressive collection of entries, highlighting everything from scenic landscapes to joyful moments shared in the parks. The photos submitted this year continue to reflect the strong connection residents and visitors have with Greenwich’s natural spaces and recreational opportunities. The winners of this year's contest:
First Place – Andrew Cummings, The Estuary
Second Place – David Kaplan, Slow Down
Third Place – William Schwartz, Bird Over Byram Harbor
