The Board of Selectmen indicated that it would unanimously approve not a three year (as originally requested), not a two year, but a one year grace period before it would comply with the restriction on gas powered leaf blowers that is in effect for residents starting May 24. A three year request was initially made, but landscapers and homeowners said this would be unfair.
