Tipping Fee Increase of 6.25% at Holly Hill

The Greenwich Board of Selectmen unanimously approved an increase to the tipping fee for commercial haulers at the Holly Hill Transfer Station.

The fee will now be $119 per ton, up from $112. This is the first increase since the tipping fee was implemented in 2020. The new amount is expected to take effect July 1. Still does not cover costs.
