Whether you're in it for rock legends or the community vibes, the race for tickets is officially on. The Greenwich Town Party (GTP) Community Ticket Lottery window officially opens on February 21 at 9am and closes March 11 at midnight. This will mark the 15th year of this popular event, scheduled for May 23, 2026 at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park. Everyone who applies during the lottery window has an equal shot.
Lottery Reality. Don't be fooled by the word "lottery"—this isn't a free ride. If you are randomly selected, winning the lottery simply grants you the right to purchase tickets for $100 per adult, $20 for kids (ages 2-12) and ticketed babies for free. Winners will be notified via email the week of March 30.
The 2026 Lineup. This year's roster at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park is a heavy hitter:
Headliners. On the main stage, acoustic mastery by Dave Matthews and fellow band guitarist Tim Reynolds
The Legend. John Fogerty, leader of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Classics include Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary, and the baseball anthem Centerfield.
The Soul. Preservation Hall Jazz Band bringing New Orleans to the harbor.
For the Kids. Elmo's Got the Moves–a high energy show featuring Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Cookie Monster.
Sponsorships. Founded by Ray Dalio, the GTP relies on generous donors to keep the community ticket prices subsidized. If you missed the lottery or want a premium experience, sponsorship tiers are available (plus 3% service fee):
Title Underwriter $250,000
Diamond $100,000
Platinum $50,000
Gold $30,000
Silver $12,000
Friend $6,000
