A Riverside resident was found dead in his bedroom just before dawn on August 27, 2025, the victim of a lethal drug cocktail. This overdose, caused by fentanyl and medetomidine (a dangerous veterinary sedative), led authorities to a Bridgeport woman now charged with 2nd degree manslaughter in connection with the fatal $50 sale that occurred the night of August 26 during a car meet-up in Bridgeport.

The Suspects. Anaira Louise Eisenlohr, 44, from Bridgeport (pictured here), supplied the lethal dose for $50 in a deal that was arranged by her boyfriend, Tony Rodriguez, 46, also of Bridgeport. Eisenlohr was charged with second degree manslaughter and her bond was set at $1 million. She was also charged for violating her probation due to multiple drug charges from an incident in Bridgeport. In a separate development that followed the overdose investigation, Rodriguez and Eisenlohr were subsequently arrested for trying to sell a stolen gun to an undercover detective at the back of the Red Carpet Inn on East Main Street in Stamford.

The Deceased. Parker Ross, 37-year-old resident of West View Place in Riverside (pictured here in 2018), was found dead in his bedroom just before dawn on August 27. Mr. Ross had a history of arrests. In 2021, Ross was sentenced to five years in prison for his role in a near-fatal overdose of a woman in Greenwich on Oct. 20, 2018, whom he was helping to use the drugs. He was also arrested for pistol whipping and attempting to rob a taxi driver in Byram on March 22, 2016. He pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree assault and attempted first-degree robbery as a part of a deal with the state. He was wearing a GPS ankle monitor on the night of the August 2025 drug deal.

Between the Lines: A lethal drug dose for only $50. From the streets of Bridgeport to a bedroom in Riverside, the opiod crisis has no borders.
