St Patrick's Day - Greenwich style

St Patrick's Day is Monday March 17. Greenwich will celebrate the day with a 9 am flag raising at Greenwich Town Hall, but the actual parade will be held Sunday March 23. The parade will start at 2 pm at Town Hall, head toward West Putnam, then down Greenwich Avenue and end at the Island Beach parking lot.
This year's Grand Marshall is Father Richard Murphy, born in Stamford, CT, and who has served at St Michael's Church, North Street, Greenwich since 2014. He also serves as chaplain of the Greenwich Police Department and the Greenwich Knights of Columbus.
