Simon Pearce’s Greenwich Homecoming

After stepping away to refine their footprint across their 13 other East Coast locations, Simon Pearce has returned to Greenwich with a new storefront at 315 Greenwich Avenue. The brand originally opened in town in 1998 at 125 East Putnam Avenue, later moved to 325 Greenwich Avenue, and departed at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Handmade American Craftsmanship
Designed as an immersive residential showroom—drawing directly from the architectural details, natural materials, and layouts of Simon and Pia Pearce’s home and Vermont mill—the space highlights the full breadth of their handmade home collections, where human hands, not machine molds, shape every item:
Hand-Blown Glassware & Lighting: Lead-free glasses, vases, and table lamps individually shaped using traditional furnace methods. Lighter and built for daily living compared to heavy, traditional European leaded crystal.
Hand-Thrown Pottery: Stoneware dinnerware, platters, and ceramic bases finished with hand-applied glazes.
Hand-Turned Woodwork & Accents: Natural hardwood serving boards, solid brass utensils, and candleholders.
The Signature Greenwich Lowball Glasses
To mark their return, Simon Pearce introduced the Greenwich Collection in collaboration with NYC's Via Carota Craft Cocktails. Featuring a hand-molded chevron pattern, the line includes a slim Collins glass and the flagship Greenwich Lowball—designed with a heavy, light-refracting base that brings a substantial weight to the hand.
Between the Lines: Let’s give a toast to the success and return of Simon Pearce in one of those hand-blown Greenwich lowball glasses!
