The Greenwich Public Schools are requesting a +5.6% increase in their budget compared to Town guidelines of a +4.3% increase. Superintendent Toni Jones attributes this mostly to 189 special education students from 2019 to 2023, increasing their share of the student population from 10 to 14 percent, with expectations of continued growth.
