It's a ten-foot-wide multi-use recreational trail that would connect Binney Park in Old Greenwich to John J. Boccuzzi Park in Stamford. The Town of Greenwich in partnership with Stamford will get a grant of $338,000 to cover the design cost with a 20% match provided by Greenwich and Stamford. The cost of the project is expected to be $4 million.
The exact route has yet to be determined. There are four potential routes: One via Harding Road, one via Tomac Avenue, one via Shore Road, and the other via Forest Avenue.
Public meetings are scheduled on Thursday Nov 6 from 6pm to 8pm at the Cohen East Greenwich Center Civic Center in Activity Room.

Between the Lines: Seems like this multi-use path is likely to incentivize Stamford residents to escape the urbanization of Stamford to the village of Old Greenwich and Tod's Point.
