Raising chickens in backcountry Greenwich

A growing number of Greenwich residents are raising backyard chickens, especially those who live in the more spacious backcountry of Greenwich.

Two residents share their stories about raising chickens in this Round Hill Association blog. They say it's fun. The chickens have personalities, and they eat your kitchen scraps and pesky bugs. They produce many fresh eggs some with colored shells in green, blue, brown, white and pink.
