Overdose of Old Greenwich Teen


Meshach Kim, 33, Greenwich resident, pleaded guilty on Monday to second degree manslaughter and sale of narcotics in connection with the October 2021 overdose death of an Old Greenwich 18-year old, according to the Greenwich Time.


The overdose was caused by a batch of fentanyl-laced heroin. Kim will be sentenced on June 5 to serve 4 years in prison and five years of probation.


The sting occurred in bank parking lot on Sound Beach Avenue. Police checked the victim's cell phone and made contact with the drug dealer. Authorities said a man later identified as Meshach Kim pulled up in a gray Mazda Miata on the morning of Oct. 28 at a bank parking lot on Sound Beach Avenue, where he was arrested.
