On Thursday afternoon July 31, Greenwich police were called to Lululemon about an extensive theft of over $2,000 in merchandise. Two people had entered the store grabbing 26 items of clothing including leggings, hoodies, T-shirts and sports bras. They were driven by a third accomplice in a gray Acura with Massachusetts plates.

Video camera footage picked up the license plate of the getaway car. This led to the arrest on August 15 of one of the three criminals named Saniya Goitom for organized retail theft. Goitom, 23, of Lawn Avenue, Stamford has an extensive arrest record for criminal charges of assault, threatening, interfering with an officer, larceny, breach of peace and hit and run. Her booking photos from prior arrests including a tattoo on her forearm, matched the store security camera footage.

Between the Lines: What about her accomplices? Are they still on the loose preying upon our community?
