Greenwich native and White House communications director in Trump's first term, Hope Hicks, 36, will be joining Megyn Kelly's media company as Chief Operating Officer.

Hope Hick's father, Paul B. Hicks was a Republican Greenwich Selectman serving under First Selectman John Margenot from 1987 to 1991. Hope Hicks graduated from Greenwich High School in 2006 and after graduating from Southern Methodist University in 2010, she worked in public relations for a few years until joining the Trump Organization from 2014 until 2021.

Megyn Kelly's independent media company, Devil May Care Media, launched in September 2020, includes shows such as "The Megyn Kelly Show" and her podcast network "MK Media". Kelly who started her career as a lawyer, had a long and profitable career at Fox News from 2004 to 2017. Kelly moved to Greenwich in 2020.

Between the Lines: In response to a 2024 post by CT Senator Chris Murphy (D) saying he supported transgender men playing in women's sports, Kelly said "You make me want to run for office in my new home state of CT and take your job." Perhaps she has something like that in mind.
