Leaf Blower Ban - there will be fines this year

A ban on the use of gas-powered leaf blowers will go into effect starting Friday at 6pm May 23. The restrictions continue until Labor Day, Monday September 1 for properties of 2 acres or more, and until Tuesday September 30 for all other residential properties.

This ordinance was put in place last January 2024. Unlike last summer, there will be fines this year. The fines are $100 for the first offense and $249 for subsequent offenses. You can call the police to report noisy neighbors at 203-622-8006.
