Jewelry thieves break into Byram apartments

Carlos Buitrago-Pinzon, 29, of Roosevelt Avenue, Queens and two accomplices broke into (1) a residence in the 800 block of the Post Road in Darien, (2) two apartments on Beech Street in the west end of Greenwich and (3) a residence in Mount Pleasant, NY all in one day on November 11, 2023.
In Darien, they stole a gold bracelet and other jewelry worth $25,000 and significantly damaged the door and frame upon entry.
The thieves were driving a Hyundai Sante Fe with temporary Tennessee plates. Buitrago-Pinzon is a native of Bogota, Columbia.
