On Friday, the Greenwich Police Department warned residents of a recent TikTok trend involving individuals forcefully kicking doors and fleeing the scene. Police said this act is not harmless. It poses serious safety risks, causes property damage and may lead to criminal charges.

What may appear as a "viral challenge" is, in reality, a crime with real world consequences. Police encourage residents to remain aware and report suspicious behavior.
