The month of May was the busiest month this year of calls for service to the Greenwich Police Department. The police reported 11 DUIs, made 66 arrests and caught more forgeries than in any month so far in 2025.

There were 2 motor vehicle thefts during May, the lowest so far this year. The vehicles were stolen from the 390 block of Stanwich Road and from Sylvan Lane.

There were 2 residential burglaries during May, the lowest so far this year. They occurred on Beechcroft Road and Husted Lane.

Between the Lines: Bottom line, stay on top of your PI (personal information) to avoid identity fraud, proceed carefully around moving vehicles that could have an impaired driver behind the wheel and keep up the good work locking your homes and cars.
