Long-time Greenwich resident William Saleeby, 62 was killed in a fiery crash on the Hutchinson River Parkway in Rye Brook, NY at 5 am on Sunday morning September 8. Jose Espinal, 48, of Bridgeport was driving his Toyota Highlander southbound in the northbound lanes of the Hutchinson River Parkway. He crashed head on into Saleeby's Toyota Camry causing the car to catch fire. Espinal was intoxicated and on his phone.
Between the lines: Saleeby was one of six siblings in town. He graduated from Greenwich High School in 1980.
