Greenwich is not an Affordable Housing Villain

Resident Tina Courpas writes a smart letter in the Greenwich Free Press. The State (8-30g) requires 10% affordable housing, but by their definition Greenwich is only at 5.7%. If you include the naturally occurring housing provided by Greenwich Hospital, country clubs, private schools and in-law suites, we come much closer to the required 10% level. Unless we fix this law, we face an increasing urbanization push in the name of affordable housing.
