On Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, at approximately 7:03 PM, Kevin Morris was arrested at Starbucks on Greenwich Avenue. He was following two juvenile girls from an ice cream shop nearby.

The two juveniles had informed store staff that they felt frightened after observing Morris follow them. Out of concern for their safety, they were escorted by a Starbucks employee to the store’s back room while awaiting police arrival. They appeared visibly upset, stating they had run into the Starbucks in an attempt to evade Morris, whom they described as making them feel unsafe.

During the course of the investigation, Morris admitted to following the juveniles and made an inappropriate remark about his behavior in the store bathroom.

According to this story here, Morris, age 46, who is from Greenwich and attended Iona College, had a twitter account where he mentioned dreaming about doing unspeakable things to young girls aged 11-14, specifically in Greenwich. Concerned residents reported him and his account was suspended. Also, Morris has been convicted in the recent past of risk of injury to a minor, possession of facsimile firearm, breach of peace and failure to appear.

Between the Lines: Great job to these courageous girls, Starbucks employees and Greenwich Police for this safe outcome. Now let's keep him off the streets.
