The Republican primary will occur on August 13, 2024. On the ballot will be Republican Michael Goldstein of Greenwich and Bob MacGuffie of Fairfield challenging Democrat Senator Chris Murphy. Also, on the ballot will be Republican Selectman Gerry Smith of Beacon Falls and Matthew Corey challenging Democrat Congressman Jim Himes.
Absentee ballots are available beginning July 23. You can request an absentee ballot online here. Early voting will start on August 5. The Town Clerk's office is open weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm. There will be special hours on Saturday August 11 from 8am to 12 noon. If you have questions call the Town Clerk's Office at 203-622-7897.
Between the lines: Pay a visit to the Town Clerk's office as soon as you can starting July 23 to vote absentee or starting August 5 to bank your vote ahead of election day. Go to the Town Clerk desk and submit the absentee and/or completed ballot right then and there.
