Last Friday night, October 18, Maria Zavaleta, 30, of Bridgeport was arrested for speeding on Delavan Avenue in Byram. Zavaleta was gong so fast that she crashed into a parked pick up truck, hit a stone wall and took out a parking sign.
She was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Between the lines: This isn't her first arrest. In September she was charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle under suspension, unsafe backing and 2 counts of failure to appear in court.
