You don't need a study to know the answer to this question posed by the CT Mirror about cost of living in CT vs FL. The cost of living is 11% higher in CT than Florida.

In this ranking, Connecticut has the 12th highest cost of living while Florida has the 18th highest in the nation. Factors used when calculating each state's cost of living are grocery items, housing, utilities, transportation, health care, and miscellaneous goods and services.

Between the Lines: Let's fix this disparity starting with removing the public benefit charges on our CT utility bills.
