While the State’s economy added 1,100 jobs in April driven by the public sector (education and healthcare), the March downward revision was grim. According to the CT Business & Industry Association, Connecticut employment is still below pre-pandemic levels and the State is not keeping up with the rest of the country. Connecticut’s annual job growth is 1.3%, a half a point below the national average and trails much of New England.
Will there be revisions to the positive April numbers that were just reported?
