While Connecticut ranked No. 4 for its education system and No. 9 for its quality of life, placements of No. 29 for infrastructure, No. 34 for cost of living, No. 39 for business friendliness and No. 43 for cost of doing business showed that the state will need to make further progress on several fronts to improve its economic reputation.
Between the lines: Unless CT reduces energy costs, taxes and regulation, why would any business relocate or start up in CT without overly generous state funded incentives.
