A new type of noise reducing surface will be applied on I-95 from the NY boarder to Exit 7 in Stamford as part of a $200 million project by the CT Department of Transportation. The project will also involve safety, lighting, bike access and Route 1 and will run over the next several years. Commissioner of the CT DOT Garrett Eucalitto provided this update at the League of Women Voters and Riverside Association. Stop95noise.org and many community groups have been lobbying to make these and many other changes including more barriers.
