Conde Nast Traveler listed Greenwich Point Park among the 17 best beaches near New York City. It highlighted the Tod's Point peninsula as only an hour and a half car drive or a Metro-North train ride away from Grand Central Terminal. They noted the sizable 147-acre park with an acclaimed beachfront and recreation trails.

The magazine quipped "It is the best way to enjoy the high taxes of Greenwich, Connecticut, without paying them yourself."

Between the Lines: If you are a resident who pays the high taxes of Greenwich, it's hard to feel good about that quote.
