April police blotter shows burglaries on the rise in Greenwich

For the month of April 2025, the Greenwich Police reported 8 burglaries, the most so far this year. One of those burglaries was a residential burglary in the 640 block of Riversville Road.


The report also showed 8 stolen motor vehicles, down from 10 last month and 4 motor vehicle break-ins, down from 6 last month. The locations where these thefts occurred include Arcadia Road, Indian Head Road, Heusted Drive, Pine Street, the 220 block of Sound Beach Avenue, the 30 block of West Putnam Avenue, a Shell gas station, Alexander Street, the 110 block and 170 block of Greenwich Avenue, the 260 block of West Putnam Avenue, Perryridge Road, Chestnut Street and Home Place.
