Another ring of organized thieves busted on Greenwich Ave

Greenwich Police arrested four members of an organized retail theft ring in downtown Greenwich on Wednesday afternoon May 15. They were conspiring to shoplift over $2,000 worth of items from a Greenwich Avenue store.


The investigation revealed that the arrestees are part of an organized retail theft group and arrived in a vehicle with a [misused], stolen plate, entered a retail store and all engaged in an effort to distract employees, act as lookouts and use their bodies to obstruct their actions to commit a larceny by shoplifting. They following arrestees were charged with use of drug papaphernalia; possession of a controlled substance; organized retail theft; conspiracy and third-degree larceny:


  1. Keyver Chirino, 27, New York City

  2. Jesus Hueck-Escobar, 31, New York City

  3. David Lopez-Flores, 18, New York City

  4. William Figueroa-Mendoza, 23, New York City
