On the border with New York, Byram covers one square mile of a walkable community. Mill Street is the main drag and the Firehouse Deli is a local favorite. Byram Park with its beach, pool and boat slips is a key amenity as is the Byram Shubert Library. Did the Indians really give it the name Byram as a closest place to "buy rum" on the NY border?
